Business Administration

The world of business is changing every day, and companies now look for people who can think smart, lead confidently, and adapt to new challenges. The Department of Business Administration was created with this goal in mind — to guide students who are curious, ambitious, and eager to understand how businesses truly work.

Our six-semester BBA program gives students a strong foundation in management, marketing, finance, human resources, entrepreneurship, and modern business tools. We focus not just on classroom learning, but on helping students see how these concepts come to life in real business situations.

To support this, we organize workshops, industrial visits, expert talks, and skill-building programs with respected institutions and industry partners. These experiences help students connect what they learn with what businesses need today.

At its heart, Business Administration is about people — understanding them, working with them, and leading them. That’s why we encourage teamwork, creativity, critical thinking, and confidence in every student.

Importance	The department offers well-furnished classrooms with modern audio-visual facilities to enhance interactive teaching and effective learning. A dedicated Business Resource Centre provides students with access to reference books, case studies, newspapers, and learning materials relevant to management and commerce. Regular workshops, guest lectures, and skill-development programs are conducted in collaboration with institutions such as the University of Kashmir, industry experts, and corporate trainers. The department organizes industrial visits and field trips to give students real-world exposure to business operations, management practices, and work environments. A project and activity space is available for students to engage in research, presentations, group work, and entrepreneurship-related projects.
